3M Test Lead $40.00

The TA000 test lead has been custom made for automotive use with PicoScope automotive oscilloscopes. Its length (3 meters — approx 10 ft) allows the oscilloscope to be placed on the work bench away from the car being tested or repaired. A wide range of probes, clips and gators can be plugged into the 4 mm connectors at the end of the cable.

Piercing Test Clips $50.00

The insulation piercing test clips allow the user to provide the exact pressure needed to pierce the insulation of a wide range of wire types and sizes. The clips also feature a rotating banana jack that prevents the test lead from twisting and allows the test equipment to be kept in the circuit while the wire is pierced, providing immediate confirmation that contact with the conductor has been made.

Acupuncture Probe Set  $58.00

 First and foremost the TA008 is a back pinning probe. In fact, it's the smallest diameter back pinning probe that we know of. This is essential for probing today's small, fragile connector. It is also very sharp, so it slides past connector seals with ease. This product solves most of the problems associated with traditional back-pinning methods.

Secondly, the TA008 is a piercing probe. Its small diameter, extra sharp pin makes it ideal for piercing the insulation on small gauge wires where traditional piercing tools might cause damage.

And finally, here's the best part. Don't you just hate it when you are using a back pinning probe and it bends or breaks? Before the TA008 came along, this meant that you had to buy a whole new back-probe. Not with the TA008; it's repairable. If the pin becomes damaged or useless in any way, simply take your pocket screwdriver, remove the set screw, pull out the old pin and install the new one! There's no need to replace the whole probe.

20:1 Attenuator  $98.00

 The PP198 is a passive 20:1 attenuator. This means that a 20V signal at its input will appear as a 1V signal on the output. As the signal is attenuated, the PP198 allows voltages higher than the ±20 V input range of the Pico oscilloscope to be measured.

The PP198, when used with Pico PC oscilloscopes provides increased input protection against overloads when working with inductive signals such as injectors and primary ignition. Under no circumstances attempt to use this attenuator to measure secondary ignition (HT) waveforms, the PP178 Secondary Ignition Pickup lead should be used for this purpose.

Mixmaster 12-Channel Automotive Signal Mixer $380.00

 With the Mixmaster 12-channel automotive signal mixer you can view an ignition parade display of up to 12 cylinders on any lab scope.

Mixmaster can produce a parade display of up to 12 cylinders using a single channel of your lab scope. If you have a 2-channel scope, then Mixmaster can also display 2 engine banks separately with up to 6 cylinders per bank.

Mixmaster includes a trigger output, derived from one of the 12 input signals, which can be used to synchronise the scope to a known cylinder. Additionally, Mixmaster features a simple switch so you can invert a bank of signals to deal with negative-going “wasted spark” signals.

Designed for use with the Automotive Oscilloscope Kit, Mixmaster can also be used on virtually any other lab scope, and can be used on both DIS and distributor ignition systems. Mixmaster is supplied with 3 BNC leads to connect to the oscilloscope, an engine-block ground lead, and a set of 4 short secondary ignition leads. Secondary Ignition Pickup $65.00 (each)

 Due to the high voltages involved in secondary ignition systems, it is not possible to make measurements by direct connection, attempting to make a direct connection will almost certainly damage the measuring instrument.

The PP178 is a capacitive pickup which simply connects around the insulation of an ignition circuit component such as a plug wire, this avoids the need for direct connection.

The PP178 comes with a shielded 1.8m (6 foot) lead. It is suitable for use with conventional ignition systems and most HEI and DIS systems.

Inductive Sync Probe $54.00

This probe allows for accurate triggering of scope display from spark plug wire signals. You can organize your display by triggering from #1 plug wire. This trigger probe connects to an input channel on your scope (normally channel one). Use this inductive trigger pickup on digital scopes with banana plug inputs.

 60 amp current clamp $98.00

The TAL-0760 current clamp is ideal for use with automotive oscilloscopes for measuring currents between 10 mA and 60 A. This enables the scope to display current waveforms for fuel injectors and fuel pumps.
 
The current clamp has two calibration settings, set by a slider switch on the handle of the probe.

                    1 mV/10 mA (100 mV = 1 A) — use this for testing currents up to 20A
                    1 mV/100 mA (10 mV = 1 A) — use this for testing current up to 60A.
In use there is no need to break into the circuit or disturb the isolation as the opening jaws simply clamp around the current carrying conductor. No electrical contact is required.

The TAL-07600 current clamp can measure currents up to 600 A for both AC (up to 400 Hz) and DC currents. Features includes a low battery indicator. Supplied with 4 mm (banana) plug type connectors.
